Creative businesses and practitioners are invaluable part of the cultural, business and social life of the Tees Valley. However, unlike other boroughs in the area, comprehensive research has never been undertaken to provide a detailed understanding of the Creative Industries in Redcar and Cleveland.
Redcar and Cleveland Council have commissioned TBR to carry out this study in order to provide an accurate picture of activity taking place in Creative Industries in the borough, including gaining a better understanding of the number and range of creative businesses and practitioners and their needs and issues.
This website has been established as part of the study to provide the opportunity for Creative Businesses and Practitioners to stand up and be counted.
If you are involved in any of the following Creative Industries then all we ask is that you click on the link below and take 5 minutes to let us know you exist!
Improving the council's knowledge of the local creative economy means that they can improve the environment in which you operate. In order to plan investment and development they need to understand how many people/businesses are where and doing what in Redcar & Cleveland.
If you are interesting in participating further in the study then please get in touch by emailing creative.teesvalley@tbr.co.uk or calling 0191 281 9955. We will be conducting a telephone survey in late March to talk to Creative Businesses/Practitioners about their needs and issues and would love to talk to you.
Trends Business Research, an independent research consultancy is managing this work. If you have any queries please contact us at creative.teesvalley@tbr.co.uk
